Our baby oil for newborns can be applied daily from head to teeny toes; for a pre-bedtime relaxing ritual, share a sweet moment with baby and gently massage into skin in circular motions. To soften cradle cap, massage a little Baby Oil into scalp before bathtime. Let sit for 15 minutes (or longer as needed), gently brush baby’s scalp, then shampoo and rinse out.

I bought this for myself, not small humans, to use as a two-step oil cleanse on my face to combat winter dryness. First I tried using it before Pipette’s unscented wash as a cleanser, but it feels better to use it after so my face doesn’t get itchy before I put moisturizer (Pipette eczema lotion) on. I massage it on face and neck, then rinse with very lukewarm water and only minimally pat dry. I’ve had no issues with breakouts with this oil, and have also started using it as a shower oil after washing with a colloidal oatmeal eczema body wash (and using not-hot water). Sometimes my legs get super itchy right out of the shower, before I can put lotion on them, but no more! The scent isn’t cute, but it’s not unpleasant either; I’ve gotten used to it, and honestly it smells like relief at this point. No scent lingers afterward and no added fragrance is certainly a plus. I absolutely recommend trying it if you are also a grown person with itchy, sensitive, reactive skin.
