    Product completely separated

This is the third time I’ve bought this product, second from Pipers directly, and once from Target. Every time I really wanted to love it. It’s unscented with clean ingredients for my little one. But in every case this product has been completely separated. I spend more time pushing out the clear base before I get any of the white cream. Then I’m frantically trying to mix it in my hands while it gets everywhere and my toddler is wiggling away. I feel like I’ve wasted my money, and there is nothing more frustrating that seeing my child uncomfortable with a diaper rash and the product I purchased to help it is just a waste leaving me in the lurch. Don’t bother wasting your money on this, because clearly it’s not just a one time batch issue.

    Is this a new formulation?

We have been using Pipette diaper rash cream since 2022 and I with my newest baby, I was initially using the OG wider tube that we had from their sibling (early 2025, purchased in 2024). I needed a restock and waited months and when the Diaper Tash cream arrived, it was in a newer skinnier tube. The formula was majorly separated and after my husband and I both attempting to shake it to recombine the ingredients (per customer service recommendation) it wouldn’t come back together. It was a clear oil with clumps of zinc. Customer service sent us a replacement and this one arrived the same way, but after vigorous shaking, it came together a bit more. However, this new formula is extremely irritating on my baby’s skin. All of my children have had delicate sensitive skin, which is why I exclusively used Pipette. But this new formula is not working. I put some on the back of my hand and it even made my own skin feel uncomfortable and have a slight burning sensation. Distribution of the diaper rash cream needs to be discontinued until formulation issues can be resolved in my opinion. Especially after reading other recent reviews, I can see this is becoming a common experience. I am just so disappointed because I was ride or die for the original diaper rash cream. My poor happy-go-lucky baby has done nothing but scream anytime we have attempted to use this on them.

    Eh

The cream in my bottle separated from the oil so now it’s just a clear goopy mess. I tried shaking it to mix it all back together but no luck

The cream was completely separated. It was just clear oil even after trying to shake it up several times.
