Clean ingredients you can trust

Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50 that safely protects from the sun

Instead of risky chemical UV absorbers like oxybenzone and octinoxate (ingredients that can damage reefs and marine life), we use reef-friendly, non-nano zinc oxide to provide broad-spectrum protection. Though no mineral sunscreen is able to be completely clear (it’s meant to sit on top of skin to reflect harmful UV rays), we obsessively tested our non-nano zinc oxide to be as blendable as possible.

Non nano zinc oxide sunscreen cools and calms

Wild gooseberry extract helps calm the effects of infrared light, which can heat and irritate baby’s delicate skin—while plant-derived antioxidant bisabolol calms irritation and moisturizes.

Replenishes what they’re born with

Squalene is a skin-moisturizing superhero all babies are born with, but it depletes over time. Our stable version, renewable, sugarcane-derived squalane, helps sunscreen glide on, adding weightless moisture to help bring natural balance to the skin.

Sun Protection Measures

Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging.  To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a broad-spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and take other sun protection measures, including:

- limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
- wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses
- reapply at least every 2 hours
- use a water-resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating

Decent Sunscreen

As someone with a darker skin it is a bit difficult to blend it in because of the white cast. It is also a bit drying on my cheeks sometimes. But overall spf 50 and good protection!

Bad Reaction

At first, I thought this sunscreen was great for me because it is mineral and less harmfull than others. However, I started getting very bad rashed after being in the sun. Initially I thought it was from not putting enough sunscreen on. After the third time this happened, I finally made the connection to the sunscreen. I read in another review that she was allergic to one of the ingredients and I think this might be case for me. I started to get some reaction one day and put on tons of sunscreen the next day to not get a rash only to find myself very itchy and burnt the next day. The other post mentioned the ingredient Hydroxyacetophenon and how it can make the reaction with the sun even worse. It only seems to happen when the sun is extrememly strong. So I would advise others to try out the suncreen on a small body part first to see if they are allergic to it or not. I am currently recovering from the rash and itchiness and hope it goes away quicker than the last time.
